Back in October 2011, Motorola made a promise by issuing a list of devices scheduled to receive Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich in 2012. While some of the customers received their ICS treatment, others didn’t (Droid Bionic for example). Now with a new management team at Motorola appointed by Google, the “New Kids on the Block,” want to make it right as Punit Soni commented on its Google+ account a few hours ago.

I want this feedback. We are doing our best to do the right thing. Bionic ICS is in my radar.
Awesome.. i need to hear all this guys. I will try my best but the team has been going through a lot… and i just kicked off work. please be a bit more patient and we will do what we can to make you happy again.
But do NOT stop adding me to threads where  you have complaints with how things are with Motorola devices.
There’s a lot more coming from Soni in reply to Motorola smartphone users which you can read and give feedback via Google+ here. So, go ahead let him know about your complaints.
The future sounds brighter for Motorola customers now that a new VP of product has been appointed. Droid Bionic owner might see an upgrade to ICS or even skip to Jelly Bean by the end of 2012, who knows. We will follow-up on this story to see how it will evolve and keep you folks updated.
