Sony Mobile’s India Facebook page has revealed than an Ice Cream Sandwich, AKA Android 4.0, upgrade will be rolled out to the Xperia P in the week of August 19th-25th. Sony did not comment whether this release was only for India, but even if it were other countries will not be too far behind, given Sony’s track record.
The Xperia P is a decent device, whose main limitation was the Android 2.3 ROM on it out of the box.
Owners with Xperia U and Xperia Sola may also rejoice, as all three phones have similar ROMs and hardware.
