Huawei updated their website to show a new tablet – the Huwei MediaPad 7 Lite. It’s a new 7-inch low-end tablet offering Android ICS and an aluminium unibody shell. Its screen resolution is 1024×600 pixels, and it’s of the IPS LCD variety. It offers full viewing angles and vivid colors, leading to a pleasant user experience. The processor is single-core ARM Cortex A8 clocked @1,2GHz. 1GB RAM is included, along with 8GB flash memory, upgradeable through the microSD card slot, which supports sdcards up to 32GB large. It packs a 4100mAh battery, which should keep the tablet alive for quite some time. We can also see the usual set of connectivity features, like Wi-Fi, GSM, GPS and Bluetooth. The usual sensors are also present here, like the ambient light sensor, accelerometer and e-compass. It’s also worth noting that the MediaPad 7 Lite packs a rear-facing 3,2MP camera and a front-facing 0,3MP camera.
We still don’t know anything about the pricing and worldwide availability, but we are looking forward to getting more info on that. The Huawei MediaPad 7 Lite looks like a promising device and will surely win the hearts of many users seeking for a decent low-end tablet and Android ICS.
