Huawei is going to unveil today at CES2012 held in Las Vegas, two new Android 4.0 ICS OS smartphones with which the Chinese manufacturer will definitely break the boundaries in terms of slimness.
The Huawei Ascend P1 S set to become the worlds thinnest Android device at its only 6.68 mm slim body while its sibling P1 measures 7.69 mm.
P1 S features a 4.3-inch capacitive Super AMOLED qHD (960x540p) touch screen with Corning Gorilla Glass display to add toughness (we can’t really say if it’s the newly announced Gorilla Glass 2). Both Ascend P1 and P1 S equipped with a dual-core Texas Instruments OMAP 4460 Cortext-A9 processor clocked at 1.5 GHz and PowerSGX 540 GPU, 1GB of RAM and 4GB of built-in memory storage.
P1 & P1S smartphones pack an 8-megapixel BSI rear-facing camera capable of recording 1080p HD video clips, a 1.3-megapixel HD in front camera with dual flash LED, capable of 720p HD and 1670 mAh/1800 mAh battery.
Both will be available in three distinct colors – metallic black, ceramic white, cherry-blossom pink in the second quarter of 2012 in Europe, North America, Australia, Middle East and Asia (China included). No pricing details for now.
