HTC together with Chunghwa Telecom the largest telecommunications company in Taiwan announced earlier today a limited edition package containing HTC One X quad-core smartphone and a set of Solo Beats by Dr Dre headphones. The announcement was made by China Telecom Deputy General Manager Mr. Chen Changrong (on the left in the photo below) and HTC’s General Manager representing North Asia, Mr. Jack Tong (on the right in the photo below).
HTC One X Deluxe Limited Edition will be available on pre-orders for Taiwanese consumers online on and at in two different colors white or ebony black on March 20 for a price tag of 24,900 Taiwan dollars (around $840 USD) which will also include one of the six data plans from Chunghwa Telecom.
The offer is available for both new customers and for those that want to renew the old contract.
HTC One X will sport the same specifications as the model introduced by HTC at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain in February. The only modified version will be the one that’s heading to the US market via AT&T which will arrive with Qualcomm’s dual-core Snapdragon S4 (Krait) processor replacing Nvidia’s Tegra 3 chipset.
Although this promotional package is only available for Taiwan at this time we might see it adopted by other European carriers in the near future as well.
