hero h2000 plus Hero H2000+ iPhone 5 Copy Emerges, Packs an Entry Level Dual Core Processor and Android 4.0

The new iPhone 5 hit the shelves just a couple of days ago, and as it goes with every high-end flagship smartphones, Chinese companies often replicate the work of the big manufacturers. The most prominent examples of that are the countless iPhone copies that are being sold, and there’s never enough of them. In fact, another one has just joined the crowd, and it’s a duplicate of the latest iPhone, the iPhone 5. The clone is made by the Chinese manufacturer Hero, and it’s called Hero H2000+. It has an 1GHz dual-core Mediatek MT6577 processor and runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.

Apart from that, the device features a 4 inch display of FWVGA resolution, PowerVR SGX531 GPU, 8MP rear-facing camera plus 0,3MP front-facing one, 4GB ROM memory plus 512MB RAM, and all of the usual connectivity features, like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS.

The phone is available at Android Sale online store for $189.99 in two colors: black and white. Optional storage options are available too, for $9,99, $19,99 and $29,99 you can get 8GB, 16GB or 32GB of storage respectively.

The Hero H2000+ is a good option for those that like the mix of openness of Android and the design of the iPhone 5 for a very low price. Again, this is not an iPhone 5 or a Galaxy S3 killer, but you can’t expect more from a Chinese company that rips off popular smartphones.
