When a new, revolutionary device, like Google’s Project Glass is announced, it’s pretty natural for people to ask whether it’s going to be used for porn or not. In fact, Google’s Project Glass may be the perfect device for shooting adult movies. The reason is: it’s completely hands-free! That’s what Pink Visual, a tech-friendly adult movie firm realized. Quentin Boyer, a Pink Visual spokesman, pointed out that the device will be extremely useful for shooting videos in POV (point of view) style, which is highly popular these days. He stated:

“The style of porn known as ‘point of view’ (‘POV‘ for short) has been a popular type of content for quite a while now. Obviously, a device that allows you to shoot high quality video in a truly hands-free fashion will make shooting POV porn that much easier.”

For now, only the Google I/O attendees can pre-order Google’s Project Glass for $1500, and Pink Visual isn’t one of them. But they hope to get the device rather sooner, because it’ll be of extreme use to them, as Boyer said:

“To really know their full potential, we’ll need to get a pair to play around with, but we’re already dreaming up ways to use the glasses to get shots (sex-related and otherwise) that just aren’t feasible using a traditional camera setup”

Although shooting porn with Google’s Project Glass is a good idea, clips filmed with this device won’t appear before 2013/2014, when the device is scheduled for a release. Will the glasses produce good porn? Only time will tell. For now, we”ll have to stick with the regular porn, shot with normal cameras.
