Rumors about Lara Croft – Guardian of Light port to Android platform surfaced for the first time back in September 2011, the game was supposed to hit Google Play in November 2011, however the launch was postponed for 7 – 8 months.
Today SQUARE ENIX Ltd finally managed to launch the game on Google Play store. Sony struck a good deal getting exclusive game optimization for Xperia Play, Xperia S and Xperia Ion. Lara Croft Guardian of Light is close enough to the Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network releases, bringing the award-winning downloadable action and adventure game to Android OS.
