This is really interesting, not long ago Motorola was announcing a timeframe for its own Android devices which are due to receive an Ice Cream Sandwich firmware upgrade this year and the only device scheduled for Q2 was the XOOM 2 Media Edition.
Apparently Best Buy says otherwise because according to an internal leaked document published by Android Police claims that Motorola Droid RAZR (16/32 GB) and RAZR MAXX and here is the interesting part (wait for it), these device will be getting Android ICS software updates as early as April 4th, while HTC Rezound on April 6th. How’s this for a great news when everyone thought Android 4.0 is not coming before late June / early July, looks like Motorola developers outrun themselves.
Make no mistake about it, this hasn’t been confirmed yet by either Motorola or Verizon, so our advise is take it easy and don’t hold your breath until it becomes official. PocketDroid will keep you posted!
