Revealed for the first time late last year in the EXIF of a couple of photos shared on Picasa - Sony LT28at known as Sony Xperia Ion today after AT&T’s official unveil at CES 2012 in Las Vegas, is a powerhouse device.
Sony Xperia Ion for AT&T has a 4.6-inch qHD 720p Reality (1280x720p resolution) display, powered by 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 12MP rear-facing BSI (backside illumination) camera with A/F LED Flash and 1.3MP front-facing camera capable to broadcast 720p HD for video chat.
Additionally the smartphone is 4G LTE enabled, has WiFi and Bluetooth 2.1 connectivity, GPS sensor and 16GB of built-in memory storage. The Xperia Ion is gearing up for this quarter release on AT&T network.
The Xperia Ion received its today, and although a date hasn’t been confirmed yet by AT&T, at this point its common for carriers to release it in the following week(s).
