Archos engineers have again managed to impress the Android community with their $249.99 9.7-inch Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich tablet. Archos have a range of tablet devices in store which are priced incredibly cheap but carry impressive specs. The Archos 97 carbon follows in those footsteps with the latest combination of specs. Archos have managed to combine performance and affordability at a bargain price.

The aluminum casing provides the device with a neat polished look and with the device weighing just 620 g, it provides an unmatchable Android experience. The 11.5mm thick Android tablet features a 1024 x 768 pixel IPS screen whose unique nature means that you can enjoy memorable viewing experiences at even the most extreme viewing angles. The multi-touch screen allows for multi-player gaming from the wide range of apps(Approximately 600,000) present in the Google Play Store. The front and back camera’s of the device are spectacular that provide a great video-calling and photo experience. The Archos 97 has a 16 GB of inbuilt storage with capacity to expand upto 32 more GBs. You can also attach a pendrive to the device using the USB port present on it.

The tablet runs on the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich that ensures that its amazing specs are utilized to the fullest. The Google approved tablet also runs the Google designed official apps such as Gmail, GTalk, Google+ (with the latest multi-video calling) and Google Maps.
