Google has updated the GALAXY Nexus page on its Google.co.jp website announcing the latest version of Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) which will soon push out to GNex customers in Japan. The update should be available within a week if it hasn’t already started rolling out in phases.

We recommend GALAXY Nexus owners in Japan to do a manual check by going into the phone’s Settings > About phone > System updates > Check For updates. If anyone manages to pull the Jelly Bean software update please do tell us in the comments below for everyone else to know.
