Meizu today announced a new smartphone, Meizu Pro 6s, which is more of an upgrade to the Pro 6, a much more refined smartphone in this series.
Meizu Pro 6s feature a 5.2-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display with 3D Press capability and embedded in an aluminium unibody with slightly curved edges. Processor-wise, the Pro 6S comes with the same MediaTek Helio X25 chipset we’ve seen on the Pro 6 model earlier this year, which is a deca-core CPU backed up by the Mali-T880MP4 GPU and 4GB of RAM. This new Meziu Pro series phone comes with 64GB built-in storage and thats it, because there is not microSD card slot to expand it further.
Pro 6s packs a 12MP Sony IMX386 camera sensor at the back with 4-axis OIS, laser and phase detection autofocus, while at the front there’s a 5MP selfie snapper equipped with large 1.4μm pixels.
The battery in the Pro 6s sees a bump up to 3,060 mAh, from 2,560 mAh in the Pro 6, and it also supports mCharge 3.0 fast charging via an 24W charger.
In addition, the Meizu Pro 6s sports a fingerprint sensor at the front, and it will be available soon in China for $400 (about ) in Gold, Silver Rose Gold and Gray colours.
