Samsung Electronics is about to unveil the Galaxy C series of smartphones this week, in Asia, a mid-range series that will include the Galaxy C7 and Galaxy C5, both sporting an Aluminum body design that bears an uncanny resemblance to the HTC One series or the latest iPhones.
A couple of images revealing the final design of the two aforementioned devices are making the rounds on the Internet. The overall aesthetics of the Galaxy C7 and Galaxy C5 has drastically changed from what we’ve seen from Samsung last year, that when it comes to mid-range metal handsets.
The Galaxy C7 is expected to feature a 5.7-inch Full HD AMOLED display, the Galaxy C5 a 5.2-inch display, both might arrive with 32/64GB of internal storage and 4GB of RAM. There are also rumours about C5 being equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 617 CPU, 8 and 16 megapixels cameras and a 2,600 mAh battery, while the C7 might come equipped with Snapdragon 625 CPU and a 3,300 mAh battery.
As for the cost of these two upcoming metal smartphones, Samsung will ask for £230 (about 300 Euros) for the C5, £295 (about 380 Euros) for the Galaxy C7.
How do you like this design?
