HTC is not done with the One family apparently, even though its latest and greatest smartphone dropped the ‘One’ word from its branding. In fact, the company has just released a new member, the One S9, which follows in the footsteps of the One M9.
Weighing in at 158 grams, the HTC One S9 measures 144.6 × 69.7 × 10.09 mm. The new One phone feature 5-inch Full HD display, packs MediaTek’s octa-core Helio X10 processor clocked at 2GHz backed up by 2GB of RAM and comes with 16GB of built-in storage. In terms of Camera, the S9 has a 13MP sensor on the back with OIS (f2.0 lens aperture) and a 4MP UltraPixel front-facing selfie sensor.
Other specs include a built-in 2,840 mAh battery, Boomsound stereo speaker and it runs on Google’s Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system.
HTC says that the One S9 will be available from mid-May in Germany for 500 Euros, quite steep for what’s considered a mid-range smartphone.
