It’s not official yet, but according to Evan Blass (the man behind @evleaks Twitter account) who recently has shared with the world a press image of the HTC 10 upcoming flagship smartphone revealing the handset from various angles, HTC might launch it in a press event schedule for April 19th 2016, or at least that’s what we see on the lock screen of the phone.
Meanwhile, a couple of new photographs portraying the Dark Grey HTC 10 have been published on Twitter by another notorious leaker, Steve Hemmerstoffer also known as @OnLeaks for about a year now.
Giving that the HTC 10 launch event might take place in late April, we should expect an early May retail release. However, things could change at HTC in the next month or so, just to prove to leakers wrong as the company did last week, when it changed the name of its flagship phone from HTC One M10 to HTC 10 (see branding picture below).
HTC 10 is said to feature a 5.15″ AMOLED Quad HD display, sport Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 processor, 4GB of RAM, 12MP main camera on the back, all metal design and will run Android 6.0.1 with a new HTC Sense UI version.
Equipped with such powerful hardware, HTC 10 allegedly scored over 100k points in AnTuTu benchmark application. The flagship will also feature HTC Boomsound technology on-board, but it wont be coming with those 2 stereo speakers that we grow fond of in the past. For some reason HTC decided that a single speaker is all right, but it is not – we’ve seen how the sound almost disappears on the One A9, when the speaker grill is accidentallycovered with one hand, especially while playing games.
How do like HTC 10 design?
