In a new fashion way, Huawei will this year unveil its flagship smartphone a little earlier than usual. The unveiling will happen during Mobile World Congress, which is taking place in Barcelona as of Monday, February 22.
But until that happens, the Huawei P9 has been revealed to the world in all its glory in several press images. The leaked gallery showcases the P9 from the front and the back, hinting at 4 colour variants (pink, white, silver and gold) of the actual flagship the company will probably release on to the market by the end of the first half of 2016.
Huawei P9 is said to feature a 5.2 inches 1080p display with 2.5D curved glass, the in-house made Kirin 955 processor, 4GB memory, a built-in 2,900 mAh battery (non-removable), 8MP front-facing selfie camera and dual 12MP cameras on the back. The P9 will also feature an all-metal kinda roundish unibody design and a fingerprint sensor on the back.
For further details such as the price and availability, we will have to wait a few more days. Huawei has a press conference schedule for this Sunday in Spain, which will be broadcasted live over the Internet. Stay tuned to Pocketdroid for the link to Huawei’s live stream, this weekend.
