No, Samsung hasnt finished with the Galaxy S6 series. In fact, the South Korean OEM plans a new release under it, namely the Galxy S6 Mini, a device that sports a 4.6-inch Super AMOLED display, according to a retailer’s listing in United Arab Emirates.
The Galaxy S6 Mini will feature a hexa-core Snapdragon 808 processor clocked at 1.8GHz like the G4, the Adreno 418 GPU, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. No microSD card slot though, as this is a glass with metal frame designed phone, much like the Galaxy Note 5 and the Galaxy S6 / Galaxy S6 Edge.
Other specs mentioned on LetsTango online retail store page are a 5 and 16MP cameras, a non-removable (obviously, since it will inherit the 2015 Galaxy series design) battery embedded underneath those sheets of Gorilla Glass, runs Android 5.1 (Lollipop) and it comes with a fingerprint sensor too.
This is all the information UAE retailer revealed, unfortunately there is no word on this little fellow’s price tag. But we will probably learn more at the end of the first week of 2016, in January, at the annual Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.
