It was only hours after we reported that the HTC One X9 renders had been leaked that the real thing surfaced. Now, HTC One X9 photos have leaked from a Chinese source to confirm the renders we saw yesterday.
HTC One X9 photos leaked:
These photos leaked literally hours after we reported the renders surfacing, confirming what the renders showed us for the next, mid-range HTC phone.
An unknown source in China managed to get their hand on a real device and took some HTC One X9 photos to prove that the renders were the genuine article.
This HTC One X9 photos show that the general design of the renders was right with a very similar design to the current flagship model, the HTC One A9. The power button and volume rocker are on the right hand side, a new design shared with the A9, as well as the SIM card slot. On the left hand side we have the SD card slot. The HTC One X9 photos also show that the device will have forward facing speakers (not something the HTC One A9 has due to the fingerprint sensor). The camera configuration is said to be 13MP rear/5MP front. The HTC One X9 photos also confirm the device will be all metal.
It’s believed the X9 will be running a 2.2GHz Octa-core processor with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage running off a 3000mAh battery. It’s also claimed the device will be running Android 5.0.2 Lollipop out of the box.
Again, we don’t know when this device will be launched or for how much, but we’re guessing it will be within the first quarter of 2016 and at a lower price of the flagship model, making it a very tempting offer for people who can’t spring the cash necessary to get the flagship A9.
