Nexus Imprint feature developed by Google Inc adds extra security to its newest Nexus smartphones.
A couple of weeks ago, on September 29 to be precise, Google Inc announced Android 6.0 Marshamallow availability along with the introduction of two Nexus smartphone, namely Nexus 6P and Nexus 5X, both of which feature a fingerprint reader on the back right under the Camera. The fingerprint scanner comes with a feature that Google calls it the Nexus Imprint, which adds extra security to the handsets.
Someone was lucky enough to get his hands on a Nexus 5X unit and did a quick Unlock/Lock test using the very same technology Google developed, Nexus Imprint. So, here it is! The Nexus Imprint feature at work in a quick video that demonstrates how fast this feature really is.
Do you think it is good enough or mostly a gimmick?
