PepsiCo is apparently entering the smartphone business with Pepsi P1 Android-powered smartphone, if we are to believe the following screen capture.

According to the above image, Pepsi is going to announce Pepsi P1 smartphone on October 20 in China, and it’s not only to show off, it actually has some interesting specs considering the price tag hinted here.

Pepsi P1 is supposed to feature a 5.5-inch Full HD display, inside there’s an octa-core 1.7GHz MediaTek MT6792 processor with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of built-in storage. Other specs include 5 and 13MP cameras, a 3,000 mAh battery, Android 5.1 (Lollipop) operating system, as for its thickness the smartphone is only 7.7 mm thick.

PepsiCo could start selling the Pepsi P1 in China for 1,299 yuan, that’s about 180 Euro’s, that if the rumour has any truth in it.
