Fossil showed off its first smartwatch

During Intel CEO keynote on stage at IDF 2015, Fossil showed off its first smartwatch powered by Android Wear platform.

In the first quarter of 2015, Fossil announced its intentions to enter the smartwatch market, and the first such gadget has been presented to the audience at Intel Developer Forum (IDF 2015) earlier this week.

Fossil’s smartwatch is not that impressive, in fact it looks quite familiar. The screen looks like a flat tire, pretty much like  Motorola’s Moto 360 watch. Actually the only difference between the two are the clips built-in into the watch itself, who by the way, it doesn’t have a name yet. Besides the introduction of two other “connected accessories”, a bracelet and a Bluetooth watch, all powered by Intel technology, the technical information such as hardware specs, were pretty scarce. Fossil and Intel prefered to only flash its latest accessories out to the public.

The first Fossil smartwatch powered by Android Wear platform, along with the other two gadgets will likely go on sale in time for the holidays.
