Samsung announces Galaxy Tab S2 tablets

Samsung announces Galaxy Tab S2 tablets powered by Android 5.0 Lollipop, both with a gorgeous Super AMOLED display, an octa-core processor and 3GB of RAM.

The smaller one, the Galaxy Tab S2 8.0 comes equipped with an obvious 8″ screen with 2,048 x 1,536 pixels resolution, a 4,000 mAh battery and it weighs 265 grams, whereas the larger Galaxy Tab S2 9.7 model feature the same screen resolution, same octa-core processor (4cores x 1.9GHz + 4cores 1.3GHz), same 32 or 64GB internal storage option and 2.1 and 8MP cameras, but a larger 5,870 mAh battery and it weighs 389 grams.

Both Galaxy Tab S2 tablets feature fingerprint scanner, WiFi-only and LTE enabled configuration and a metal frame that keeps together the plasticky housing. The Tab S2 handhelds by Samsung measure only5.6mm in thinness, which makes them ultra slim and light.

Samsung hasn’t said much about their newly announced tablets price tag, but we know that both will go on sale globally, as of next month (August).
