Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus dummy surfaces in Germany, could go on sale in Europe on August 21.
We’ve heard about Samsung’s intentions of releasing a phablet sized Galaxy S6 Edge for a while now, but this is the first time that we are able to take a good look at how this large handset will look like.
Folks at AllaboutSamung (German blog) got their hands on some photographs that are showing a Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus dummy unit sized-up against the Galaxy Note 4 phablet. They do not have any hardware specifications information however we can draw a few conclusions on the size and the looks of this behemoth.
The screen of the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus is definitely 5.7-inch in size and it has curved edges on both sides like the Galaxy S6 Edge. Also, the overall looks is similar to S6 Edge’s design, it will likely sport 2K (Quad HD – 2,560 x 1,440 pixels) screen resolution and we have a hint to the release date. SSamsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus could go on sale on Friday, August 21st, in Germany, or at least thats what the dummy unit lockscreen widget is showing, which means Samsung Electronics will likely launch it on August 12 as it has been rumoured already.
Dont expect the Galaxy Note 5 at this event, but later at IFA 2015.
