Motorola has apparently decided that with the release of the Moto G 3rd Gen, it is finally the time to bring the mid-range smartphone into the Moto Maker, thus giving customers access to a plethora of colors and customization for this upcoming handset.
The news comes via @evleaks and this is not all. Moto G 3rd Gen has also made an appearance in person (real life hands-on images) confirming XT1542 model number assigned by Motorola for this model and that it runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop.
Moto G 3rd Gen will feature a 5″ 720p HD display (320 dpi), it will be powered by Qualcomm’s MSM8916 chipset which offers the Snapdragon 410 CPU clocked at 1.4GHz and the Adreno 306 GPU. There’s also 1GB of RAM. Moto G3 has 8GB internal storage and a microSD card slot, 5 and 13MP cameras too, unfortunately we do not hold info about the battery.
The smartphone will probably debut on July 28th, in an event which will take place simultaneously in New York and London (we will be in London, so keep an eye on our daily reports for images and details).
