Samsung Electronics introduced a couple of new Galaxy smartphones on the Chinese market today – Galaxy J7 and Galaxy J5. The J5 specifications has been leaked over a week ago and are almost accurate with what Samsung announced today..
Both phones feature Snapdragon processors, 1.5GB of RAM, 16GB of ROM, 720p HD display, 13MP and 5MP cameras, NFC, dual SIM slots.
The differences between the Galaxy J7 and Galaxy J5 are as follows: Galaxy J7 feature a 5.5″ display, 1.4GHz Snapdragon 615 CPU and a 3.000 mAh battery, whereas the Galaxy J5 feature only a 5″ display, a 1GHz Snapdragon 410 CPU and a 2.600 mAh. Both devices are dual SIM and come with 4G LTE technology on-board, thanks to Qualcomm’s chipsets.
Samsung is going to sell the Galaxy J5 (SM-J500) for 1,398 yuan, about 200 Euro / 145 GBP, and the Galaxy J7 (SM-J700) for 1,798 yuan which is about 255 Euro / 180 GBP.
We are not certain if these two budget phones will be available outside Asia.
