After succesfully implementing Android One project in the Asian countries such as India, Sri Lanka, Nepal, etc, Google is bringing its project to Europe. Turkey is the first European country where Google launches an Android One-based smartphone. Dubbed General Mobile 4G, the smartphone is quite remarkable.
General Mobile 4G feature a 5-inch 720p IPS display, which is protected by a sheet of Gorilla Glass 4, it comes equipped with Qualcomm’s 64-bit Snapdragon 410 processor clocked at 1.2Ghz, it has 2GB of RAM, 16GB of built-in storage, 13MP main camera, 5MP in the front, runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop (Google will provide the software updates for the next couple of years) and it is compatible with 4G LTE networks.
The General Mobile 4G will go on sale May 15 in Turkey for 699 TRY, about €235, £170.
