We all love the new phones from Motorola since they were relaunched last year under the guidance of Google. Since then, they have released three great phones: Moto X, Moto G and Moto E to cover the whole gamut of price range and styles. Now, a year later, Motorola have relaunched the Moto X and have built onto of a sturdy foundation to be what could be once of the best phones this year.
New Moto X by Motorola:
In a press release from Motorola, they announced the relaunch of their high-end flagship phone the Moto X. Getting a screen size boost, now measuring 5.2″ Super AMOLED HD Display, the internals of the phone have been upgraded too, with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor running at 2.5GHz, Stereo speakers, All-day battery and the camera has been upgraded from 10MP to 13MP with some impressive software to make taking photos easier, and great photos better.
Software wise, the new Moto X comes with Android 5.0 L and will be 0 delays in getting any updates to the latest upgrade, much like the Nexus range of devises. It will be stock Android L, bar a couple of assistance apps which were seen in last year’s model.
Finally, as if all this wasn’t great news to start with, you’ll be able to style your Moto X using the new Moto Maker seen last year in the US. Moto Maker will allow you to style your new Moto X straight from the factory with choices of sustainable wood designs, as well as uploading all your details onto the phone already, so that you can use your new Moto X out of the box, without set up required.
For the privilege of all this updated technology and style, you’d expect to pay a heavy premium on top of last year’s price. However, Motorola have kept the price the same, starting at £419.99 SIM free from Motorola (higher storage and different styles will cost extra). There is a 16GB model and a 32GB model available in Black, Leather or Bamboo. The Moto X will be available from retailers and networks from the end of September.
