Alcatel has introduced a brand new device to its portfolio called the Alcatel OneTouch Flash (6042D). The Alcatel OneTouch Flash is a 5.5-inch phablet, which might be Alcatel’s answer to the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo and the Xiaomi Redmi Note.
The Alcatel Onetouch Flash features a 5.5-inch (720 x 1280 pixels) IPS display,Android 4.4 KitKat and for Selfie enthusiasts,a 5 MP front camera.The primary rear camera has a 13 MP autofocus camera with LED flash. Other specifications include,1 GB of RAM, and for the processor,a 1.4 GHz octa-core Cortex-A7 CPU 1.4GHz MediaTek MTK6592M processor. 8 GB of internal memory is also included,with expansion via MicroSD is possible up to 32 GB.
The Alcatel One touch Flash will have 3G connectivity but no LTE support. Also worth mentioning is that the Alcatel One touch Flash will feature MediaTek’s version of NFC called HotKnot. The device measures in at 152.1 x 76.2 x 8.1 mm and has a big 3,200mAh battery. The price of the device will be revealed on September 8.
Alcatel is also looking to launch a 2K equipped Android smartphone that leaked recently as OneTouch D820.
