Motorola holds a press event in a couple of days in Chicago, where the company will laucnh not only its flagship smartphone for 2014, but also the sequel of the best-selling and affordable smartphone designed by Motorola – Moto G.
While the world awaits for Motorola’s press event, which by the way will be live streamed over the Internet on Thursday (we will put the link up soon), the Moto G2 retail box has been caught on camera. As a surprise or not, the box says Moto G not G2.
The hardware specs of the upcoming Moto G2 are as follows: a 5-inch HD screen, the same Snapdragon 400 CPU, 1GB of RAM, 8MP camera instead of just 5MP sensor, 8 or 16GB built-in storage, and Android 4.4.4 KitKat.
Note that the back cover is still removable and it will be available in a lot of colors.
