Nokia X2 set for launch on June 24th at Nokia’s Green with Envy event?
Nokia disrupted the mobile universe a while back, when the company announced in an unnatural manner its first Android-powered smartphone, the Nokia X (now imagine Apple announcing an iPhone running Windows Phone, how crazy would that be, right?).
While the Nokia X is considered by many a failed attempt to steal Android OEMs thunder, the company is about to launch an upgraded variant very soon, if we are to believe the rumours. Nokia X2 is what Nokia X was supposed to be in the first place, however with poor hardware that makes the phone lag a lot and no Google services (YouTube, Google Play store, etc) available, the first Android smartphone from Nokia remains a letdown rather than something to be excited about, after all its Nokia’s first ever Android device.
The rumour has it Nokia X2 will sport a 4.3-inch display (480 x 800 pixels), Snapdragon 200 dual-core CPU clocked at 1.2GHz, 1GB of RAM, 4GB of ROM and a 3MP camera.
Nokia X2 could debut as early as June 24 at Nokia’s Green with Envy event, unless its something else.
