After the much anticipated launch of the HTC One M8 back in March, HTC has recently introduced a plasticky variant dubbed HTC One E8. The phone itself is made of polycarbonate whch replaces the aluminium used on the One M8. HTC also replaced the dual camera on the back with a 13MP camera.
HTC One E8 comes in dual SIM option and it has pretty much the same internal hardware like the One M8: a Snapdragon 801 processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of built-in storage (up to 128GB via microSD slot), 5″ Full HD screen, Android 4.4 and HTC Sense 6.0 on top of it.
The One E8 is priced at about $480 and it is available only in Asia for now. HTC sold over 50,000 One E8 phones in just 15 minutes. It looks like HTC fans in Asia are head over heels for the plasticky variant of the HTC One M8.
