Samsung is up to announce a new tablet on June 12th, that’s the Galaxy Tab S 10.5, which is a new member of Samsung’s premium tablet line-up. SamMobile spilled the beans and released a couple of press renders, as well as its whole spec sheet today.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 features a 10.5-inch Super AMOLED display of 2560×1600 resolution, an octa-core Exynos 5420 processor, 3GB RAM and 32GB expandable storage. It packs an 8MP rear-facing camera and 2.1MP front-facing shooter for selfies. The Tab S is extremely lightweight and slim, measuring only 6.6mm in thickness and weighing 465g.
The tablet runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat customized with Samsung’s Magazine UX. Additionally, it comes with some useful Samsung features and tweaks, like the Download booster for one, Ultra power saving mode, Fingerprint scanner, Remote PC and more.
The design of the Galaxy Tab S is really beautiful. It features the same dotted back cover like the Galaxy S5, and though it isn’t leather, it looks really premium and stylish.
Samsung will start selling this device by the end of June, and it will be up for pre-ordering soon after the announcement.
