HTC One Mini 2 available at O2 on May 30th.
Sick of reading the words “HTC” and “One”? well, tough; because O2 has just announced that the recently revealed One Mini 2 will be landing on their refresh tariff by the month’s end.
The One Mini 2 is the latest in line to the award-winning One family, comprising last year’s One (M7), HTC One mini and HTC One Max and this year’s hugely popular HTC One M8, which has been selling like hot cakes. The One M8 Mini, is essentially the same stunning design as it’s older brother, but just packing a little less punch.
Obviously the M8 mini isn’t going to go toe to toe with the One M8 regarding specs, it has a Snapdragon 400 chipset which is clocked at a 1.2 GHz and backed up by 1GB of RAM, so it’ll be anything other than slow.
Somewhere where it is competing with its older brother is in the camera department, the M8 mini has a 13 megapixel shooter round the back versus the One M8’s 4 dual “ultra-pixels” and on the front of the M8 is the same 5 megapixel “selfie” (sigh) camera that can be found on the regular M8.
The HTC One Mini 2 will be available in both Silver and Gold on 02 with their refresh tariff which gives you the option of updating your device every 12 months. If you want to be the first to get your hands on the M8 Mini with O2 be sure to keeping checking their order page for more details.
