Motorola has come back to the top of the ladder thanks to its Moto X and Moto G balanced Android smartphones, but mostly thanks to Moto G affordable price and pretty good performance for a mid-level phone. In fact, Motorola shipped over 6.5 million units this first quarter of 2014.
Not too long ago, while Dennis Woodside was still running things at Motorola, he spoke about a future Motorola device that would sell for under or at most $50, and that phone could be the Moto E, that we’ve heard rumours about earlier this month in South America, Brazil.
It looks like Moto E exists and it is coming to Europe as well, as Motorola Germany spilled the beans on its Facebook page, where the subsidiary published a Moto E teaser and withdraw it immediately after realizing the mistake they’ve made.
In terms of hardware, Moto E is said to feature a 4.3-inch display with 1280 x 720 screen resolution, a dual-core 1.2GHz processor, 1GB of RAM, 4GB built-in storage, Android 4.4 and a 1,900 mAh battery.
Moto E teaser has been removed, but folks at BestBoyz [DE] managed to pull off the image from Motorola Deutschland Facebook page.
We are not certain if Moto E is an Android device as the teaser reminds us of Mozilla’s Firefox logo, could end up running Firefox OS.
What say you?
