Last September Samsung unleashed the Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 edition, a high-end tablet which launched alongside, everybody’s favourite phablet the Galaxy Note 3, and now is reportedly getting a software update to the latest version of Android.

You’ll find all the familiar improvements and changes that come with KitKat, speed and performance boosts, UI changes (white status bar icons etc.) there’s also a new camera short cut, wireless printing support and full-screen album art and many others, of course there’ll also be the Samsung specific updates, changes to Samsung system apps and Touchwiz itself.

As usual, the update will presumably be a slow roll out, with some countries getting it before others, so try to check for updates on the Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 edition every couple of hours by going into » General »  About phone » Software updates, have you received the update yet? let us know in the comments or on Twitter.
