Nubia X teaser hints at a new ZTE Nubia series handheld.
Over a year ago, in the winter of 2012 (December), Chinese ZTE OEM introduced a high-end smartphone called ZTE Nubia 5, but at a more affordable price. Basically, Nubia is ZTE’s premium series, which recently (CES 2014) welcomed a couple of new handsets, the ZTE Nubia 5S and ZTE Nubia 5S mini.
This week at MWC 2014, ZTE brought a couple of new handsets but none of them are part of the Nubia series, however, the chinese OEM started teasing a new device dubbed Nubia X on Sina Weibo microblogging network.
The rumour has it that ZTE Nubia X will be a 6 inch Android phablet that is said to compete with the likes of Galaxy Note 3, HTC One Max, LG G Flex or Sony Xperia Z Ultra.
Aside from this huge Nubia X poster that says “It’s coming,” there’s nothing else to tell, we will have to wait for ZTE to share further details, such as the launch event date.
