The word is that LG will announce a successor to the LG Optimus G Pro of last year at MWC 2014. It will be called simply, the LG G Pro 2, and will be an improvement over the last model in every aspect.
The G Pro 2 is said to feature a 6-inch FullHD display, a quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor, 3GB RAM and Android 4.4.2 KitKat pre-installed. We have no word on the rest of the specs though, but it’s safe to expect an 8MP or higher camera, and at least 32GB storage. We hope LG does something to improve the user experience of the software, as it can’t be said that LG’s skin is the nicest one available.
It’s reasonable to expect that this LG device may become a serious threat to the current top-ranked phablets, especially the Galaxy Note 3. But it’s yet to be seen how it performs in real life.
