If you own a Motorola Droid Ultra or a Droid Maxx then you should expect a notification instructing you that an update to the latest software is currently available. Multiple reports have surfaced hinting an update to the halted build (build 19.5.3) back in December of last year. The halt for the Android 4.4 “Kit Kat” resulted after issues emanated to the mass public update and the whole process had to be prematurely pushed to a later date (10hrs ago) .Reports confirm that the same build number (19.5.3) is being used for the update and this may just mean that the corrections are finally done and so is the final test.
The Android Kitkat for the Moto Droid Ultra and Maxx is expected to deliver a number of new and improved features amongst them security, speed, efficiency and of course the general look and feel to the user.
Most users have confirmed receiving the new updates and this just means that the year has sure started on the right footing for Motorola and is a statement to the rest. For you who has been on the wait for that coveted notification, you can manually check for the setting by going to Settings>About phone>Software update where your phone will connect to the server and automatically download the update.
