Galaxy Note 3 users were recently able to flash & test a pre-release KitKat build for the Snapdragon 800 variant (SM-9005) of the phablet but it seems that Samsung is willing to deliver the final bits ahead of the February/March schedule.
The South Korean giant had promised to offer the KitKat treatment to its supported Android handsets. – And it happens that an official final build for the Galaxy Note 3 (SM-9005) was released earlier today! The firmware carries the N9005XXUENA6 moniker and appears to have been compiled last week (January 9, 2014).
The firmware is rolling out in Poland via Samsung KIES according to SamMobile, other regions are likely going to follow in the coming days/weeks as the necessary network infrastructure is set up. The chocolate flavoured version of Android for the Snapdragon 600 version of the Galaxy S4 is also around the corner as the leaked firmware proved to be quite stable.
No release dates were announced for the Exynos variants but Samsung is likely in the final stages of testing, users should expect the builds to roll out any time during the course of this month.
