The new Transformer Pad TF502T is visually very similar to the other Asus tablets. Its body is thin and light, measuring only 8.3mm of thickness and 525g of weight. Under the hood it packs the obsolete NVIDIA Tegra 3 quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz, 8MP back camera and a 2MP front one, 2GB RAM, 32/64GB internal storage plus a microSD card slot for expansion, WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity, GPS and NFC. Its 10.1-inch display boasts HD resolution (1366x768p), which is OK for a mid-range tablet. Its battery is rated at 9 hours of usage. The TF502T runs on Android 4.2.2 Jellybean, probably very lightly-skinned.
The Transformer Pad TF502T can be had with an optional dock, which also comes with a power pack that extends the battery rating to 16h of usage, but also makes the tablet bulkier.
