Polaroid may not be renowned Android manufacturer but it once again expanded its cheap budget Android tablet with three new models ranging from 7 to 10 inches, the Polaroid Q7, Q8, and Q10.
Those tablets will be offered at an introductory price of $129 to $179, that’s a lot of bang for the buck considering that they all come with Android 4.4 KiKat preloaded backed by a quad-core SoC. – Something that we haven’t quite seen with any other recently released budget tablet. Standard connectivity features include WiFi, Bluetooth and HDMI. Front and back cameras will also be available as well as front-facing speakers.
The SoC type was not detailed but we’re likely looking at those low end MediaTek models or quite possibly Allwinner SoCs
The trio will make their first appearance at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas in less than a week. With those kind of specifications, it seems that this is what Polaroid wants to shift their focus on for 2014.
The company hasn’t announce a specific release date but they’ll start shipping the Q series in the spring.
