Last month Asus introduced a 10.1 inch low-budget convertible (laptop-tablet) Windows called Transformer Book T100 which is powered by an Intel Atom Baytrail-T Z3740 quad-core processor. By now, you are probably wondering why are we talking about a Windows-running device on an Android website. Well, because of a WiFi Alliance certificate received by a couple of unreleased Asus Transformer Book T101TA / T100TC tablets, that hint to a similar device, but with Android 4.2.2 operating system, WiFi a/b/g/n and other connectivity (probably 4G).

Transformer Book T101TA / T100TC could make its way onto the market by the end of the first quarter and we might see it unveiled during CES 2014, in early January.

You think Asus is going to launch a budget friendly 2-in-1 convertible Android-powered device? Would you be interested in such devices?
