Yes, Moto G is a great budget friendly device as you’ve probably already found out from our full review, and yes it comes in only 8GB or 16GB internal storage version and no SD card slot. However, Motorola, which is a Google company now, will offer you 50GB of Google Drive cloud storage for the next couple of years, all you have to do after purchasing a Moto G is to download the app from Google Play store (if its not already pre-installed), run it and then click on Redeem to get the extra 50GB. Once activated, you’ll have an initiall 15GB of Drive storage + 50GB as a gift for buying the Moto G, which is more than enough to solve the ‘no SD card slot’ hurdle.
