Android 4.4 update

Hot off the heels of Google’s official unveiling of KitKat some three weeks ago, Motorola has confirmed last year’s DROID family will be getting the update as well as 2013’s Moto X and also the new line up of Droids. Verizon is already pushing Android 4.4 update to Moto X users.

A quick search on Motorola’s official update support pages shows that the DROID RAZR HD, MAXX HD and RAZR M are all getting a face lift to Android 4.4 (KitKat).

Great news for users of the devices, and also for users of other older Android devices, that they too might also get a Christmas present in the shape of their phone being updated to the latest and greatest from Google. No date has been announced as of writing this, so don’t start hitting update just yet.
