play storeGoogle is set to reveal Android 4.4 KitKat, the Nexus 5 and quite possibly a redesigned version of the Play Store later this month.

Few leak shots of the latter have apparently surfaced on a few hours ago and Android Police managed to get its hands on the bits via an anonymous source. As you may have noticed the most obvious changes is the “hamburger”-style slide-out navigation which is already mainstream in a wide range of ‘modern’ Android Apps.

Navigation is in way made easier with every single option crammed in a single menu which list ‘Store Home, ‘My Apps, ‘My Wishlist’ and ‘Redeem’. It’s worth noting that the contents of the menu changes dynamically based on where the user is browser. For instance you’ll be offered with ‘My Movies’ and ‘Shop’ if you’re going through the Movies section.

The shots apparently depict an early build of Play Store 4.4 running on KitKat but we won’t be treated with APK file for the time being. Android Police notes that the build is not complete enough for a leak. Sorry, folks. No download.
