This is an interesting news that we’ve just received! We all know that Sony Mobile is going to unveil the Sony i1 Honami (a truly remarkable smartphone with 20MP camera lens) on September 4th, after all, we did receive invitations to an event in Berlin. Aside from launching a new flagship device, Sony is currently working on a Sony Honami Mini.
Sony Honami Mini is said to pack a 4.3 inch (1280×720) display with Triluminos technology, will keep the same looks as Sony i1 Honami but at a smaller scale, the Sony Lens G also rumored to be included, Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset (which model is unknown for now), 2GB of RAM, and 16GB of built-in storage, microSD slot and 2,400 mAh battery.
Basically Sony is looking to create its own flagship + mini series, like HTC and Samsung did with its One and Galaxy series.
Another interesting bit of information that just came up is that Sony i1 Honami will be marketed as Sony Xperia Z1 (Z One). This information comes straight from DoomLord, a recognized developer on XDA forums.
