galaxy-note-3-patent1-414x540After the Samsung Galaxy S4 and HTC One, other OEMs have been releasing new smartphones, with the hope that their handsets will become a hit, like the aforementioned. We have had the Moto X, which was revealed just a few weeks ago,  rumors of a new Sony device (Sony Honami i1) continue to do rounds on the Internet, but this writer believes that the one smartphone that probably might cause a big a splash as the S4,is the Galaxy Note III.

The IFA trade show is where the big corporations come to show off their new devices, trying to outdo each other with nifty designs, each with its own unique tinge. Before the Samsung Galaxy Note makes its debut, we might just have a glimpse of what it might look like the Samsung Galaxy Note III (SM-900) which is supposed to feature a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED display, 13 megapixel camera with Xenon flash, 3,450 mAh battery, Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, and an Exynos 5 Octa-core or a Snapdragon 800 processor as well.

The patent was filed for back in June of 2012,and does not explicitly state that this is the Galaxy Note 3, and in June 2012,talks of the galaxy note 3 hadn’t even begun, heck, even the galaxy note 2 had not been announced. So,while there is a slim chance that this might actually be the note 3,(there’s a slot for the s-pen in the patent claim),we can’t be completely certain.Samsung might have just wanted to secure their future endeavors as far as intellectual property is concerned,or this might just have been  a prototype that was in testing, guess we will just ave to wait and see.
