A few days ago at an Asus briefing meeting in France the names of a few new devices came up on a couple of slides, including Asus PadFone Mini, Asus MeMO Pad HD8 and Asus MeMOFone HD5. Now these names have never been seen or heard of anywhere before this leak, but is now slowly getting out in the open as a new device dubbed Asus ME180A has been spotted.

Today a thorough tipster of ours found on GFXBenchmark website an Asus product using build named ME180A and touted as an WW_ePad, which makes us belive that this could be the Asus MeMO Pad HD8 or the MeMOFOne HD5, it cant be the PadFone Mini, or at least thats what we believe right now.

According to GFXBench site, Asus ME180A feature a quad-core 1.6GHz processor, which is either a MediaTek or Rockchip chipset, a Mali-400 MP GPU, Android 4,2.2 at the time of the benchmark test and it comes with 1280×800 screen resolution (HD).

We expect this pad/tablet to show up during IFA 2013, in Berlin, alongside the rest of the new devices that we’ve seen leak in France. Which device do you folks think this is MeMO Pad HD8 or the MeMOFone HD5?
