HTC has just announced a new affordable smartphone called HTC Desire 500, which brings HTC Sense, HTC Blinkfeed, and Qualcomm power at a low price point.
HTC Desire 500 packs a Snapdragon 200 processor clocked at 1.2GHz with 1GB of RAM, it has 4GB built-in memory storage which is expandable through a microSD slot for up to 64GB, a 1,800 mAh battery is also included and an 8MP rear-facing camera. The phone runs, probably Android Jellybean, however HTC failed to tell us which version and with HTC Sense on top of the operating system.
“It is perfect for people who are always-on-the-go, it enables powerful multitasking and live-streaming of important and interesting information, and it boasts an excellent camera and that bring your important moments to life, said Mr Peter Chou, HTC’s CEO.
As for availability, HTC Desire 500 will go on sale in Europe by the end of the month.
